Financial Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisor to join our Business Advisory team in Colac. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing business advice and/or producing complex special purpose reports for clients
• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts and a range of individual businesses
• Liaise with various providers and statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• For more senior candidates: Delegate and review work of junior team members, providing coaching and support to ensure correct accounting and taxation standards are applied

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within public practice
• Relevant degree majoring in Accounting
• CA or CPA qualification or be working towards this
• Strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e. Xero, MYOB)
