We are seeking an experienced Academic Professional to join our educational team as a teacher of English and Year 8 History. This is a temporary, full-time position that will commence Term 4, 2025.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in teaching and be committed to delivering high-quality education to students. They will be required to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community.

Responsibilities
  • Teach English and Year 8 History subjects to students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student understanding and achievement
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development

Key qualifications include:

  • A valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Compliance with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school, with a willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community.
