The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join our top-ranked Dispute Resolution team in Melbourne. In this role, you will work closely with leading partners, undertake a range of commercial and corporate disputes, and contribute to excellent client service.
You will have the opportunity to develop business opportunities with existing and new clients, work with a highly motivated and innovative team, and gain extensive client exposure. You will also be part of a multi-disciplinary global disputes team with world-leading sector specialists and regional experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to delivering technical advice on commercial litigation matters;
- Work collaboratively with the team to handle files, identify issues, and provide solutions;
- Play an important role in projects to further develop business opportunities;
- Be a key member of the team and work closely with colleagues across different offices;
- Have the opportunity to develop a network of relationships with clients and colleagues;
Requirements
- An Australian or New Zealand practicing certificate with at least 3 years' experience;
- Demonstrable experience in delivering technical advice on commercial litigation matters;
- An excellent academic record coupled with strong legal skills and a practical mindset;
- A proactive approach and desire to be an integral member of our team;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team;
- A hunger to learn and develop, and be part of maintaining a market-leading practice;
