
Nurse Unit Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced healthcare professional to join our team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager. This role will see you delivering high-quality nursing care, mentoring team members, and contributing to education and training.
About the Role:- You will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and guidance to ensure continuity of care and professional development within the nursing team.
- You will support operational responsibilities, including rostering, staffing, performance management, and resource planning.
- You will contribute to quality improvement and research, integrating evidence-based practice and participating in audits and service evaluations.
- Leading and guiding a team of nurses to deliver excellent patient care and promote a positive work environment.
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall quality of care.
- Mentoring and coaching staff to enhance their skills and knowledge and promote career growth.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- A registered nurse or nurse/midwife qualification from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- A minimum of 3 years post-registration nursing experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse.
- Proven competence in relevant nursing practice standards and experience supervising students and junior staff.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload.
