About the Role
As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing maintenance activities on a range of defence plant and equipment at Amberley Barracks. This is a full-time permanent position with a regular working schedule from 7am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays at 12pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, test, and repair field power generators and field power generation plant and equipment
- Maintain, repair, and service air conditioning systems
- Maintain, service, test, and repair mobile refrigeration units
- Work with computer-controlled diagnostic and management systems
- Refer to circuit diagrams and use meters and test instruments to find electrical faults
- Adjust control systems and timing to ensure plant and equipment are running at peak performance
About You
- Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / Electrotechnology
- QLD Electrical License/tickets relevant to the role
- Current Open Australian driver's license is required
- You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain a Defence security clearance
