Key Roles for Data Projects and Support

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the vital work of promoting information access and privacy rights in NSW.

The organisation seeks a detail-oriented, analytical individual to play a key role in supporting data-driven projects. The successful candidate will provide data analysis of casework, prepare monthly performance reporting, implement IT enhancements, provide system support and general project coordination to ensure the successful implementation of business improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducting thorough data analysis and generating performance reporting and operational dashboards;
  • Investigating and implementing IT enhancements to improve organisational efficiency;
  • Providing IT support to various stakeholders;
  • Delivering high-quality administrative and secretariat support for committees, including managing logistics and preparing meeting materials;
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records to meet recordkeeping requirements.
About You:
  • You are an analytical individual with strong problem-solving skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • You have experience turning data into actionable insights and are motivated to enhance transparency, privacy, and information governance across the public sector;
  • You possess strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, including preparing reports, tables, and graphs;
  • You have demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities;
  • You have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality documentation and support meetings effectively.
