Senior Sustainability Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our Brisbane team at Stantec.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver sustainability on projects within the buildings sector, leveraging expertise in Australian Standards and National Construction Code.
- Develop and implement sustainability programs, performance reporting, and feasibility studies using industry-standard rating schemes like Green Star, NABERS, and WELL.
- Represent Stantec externally, managing client relationships and collaborating with architects, contractors, and end-users to achieve efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Provide support and mentoring to junior staff members, delegating tasks and contributing to their development.
- Lead and deliver sustainability-related projects, clearly communicating recommendations and options to clients and project teams.
- Experience and understanding of Australian Standards, National Construction Code, and industry-standard rating schemes.
- Proficiency in building simulation software like IESVE, Energy Plus, TAS, or similar.
- Good communication and business development skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Ideal candidates will have a university degree in Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or a related discipline, and a strong understanding of climate change resilience and adaptation methodologies.
