The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Electrician to join our team. As a Commissioning Electrician, you will be responsible for the commissioning of our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and large-scale solar systems. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Programming and configuration of control components within the BESS
  • Provision testing
  • Completing ITR's
  • Fault finding on electrical systems
  • Management of technical documents
  • Review specifications
  • Liaising with multiple teams, both internally and externally
  • Assisting with the transportation of BESS to site
  • Carrying out Site Acceptance Testing

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A WA Electrical Licence
  • Experience in commissioning or BESS is desirable
  • HV Switching ticket is advantageous
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations
