Event Management Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Event Manager to lead the coordination and execution of various events throughout the year.
- Coordinate and manage events, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
- Liaise with committees, chair of judges, and industry advisors to ensure successful event delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordination of events, including preparation, publications, mail outs, processing and correcting entries, and attending to exhibitor enquiries.
- Liaising with committees, chair of judges, and industry advisors regarding schedule, competition regulations, logistics, and on-site delivery of events.
- Providing support to the team and managing administration of committee meetings, including preparing meeting papers, taking minutes, effective communication, and delivering on tasks arising from meetings.
About you...
This role requires great attention to detail and excellent organizational skills complemented by a strong interest in the wine, dairy, and fine food industries.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Tertiary qualifications and an interest in the wine and food industries (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in administration or event planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
