Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and security of our cutting-edge energy management and renewable energy software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and own the QA strategy, roadmap, and quality metrics.
  • Establish organization-wide standards for test tooling and environments.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the test process.
  • Write custom scripts and automation tools to streamline testing.
  • Support the shift from legacy QA into modern automation-first engineering.
  • Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including test planning, test case design, automation, execution, and defect reporting.
  • Generate test data required for test execution based on the test scenarios and cases identified.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
  • Align and execute the automation regression testing across various environments.
  • Assist in supporting the release management process and healthy state of test environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Test Automation, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills – JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks.
  • Experience across different types of testing (functional, system, integration, regression).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of secure software design, testing methodologies, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong organizational skills.
