Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Project Engineer, who will collaborate closely with our project team to deliver high-quality engineering support, procurement services and contract management expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate engineering designs for resources sector projects
  • Manage and oversee procurement functions on assigned projects
  • Develop and implement project plans including project execution plans, estimates, schedules and resource requirements
  • Manage scope changes in terms of cost, schedule and quality
  • Execute project delivery within set criteria with a strong focus on safety
  • Support effective subcontractor management to deliver successful project outcomes
  • Identify risks and take proactive measures to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Perform client-facing roles, including client meetings, relationship management and contract negotiation

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Mining industry experience across process plant and equipment
  • 7 to 12 years post-graduate experience
  • Strong contract management and commercial skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects
  • Experience in owners project team highly regarded
  • Change and design management experience
  • Managing procurement and contract packages experience
