The Opportunity
The Supply Chain Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives through strategic analysis and collaboration, ensuring agility in response to market dynamics while meeting business objectives. This role requires coordination across sourcing, sales, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team to deliver customer and statutory requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of management systems and processes
- Set objectives and development actions to ensure ongoing career growth and development within the business
- Implement strategies to build and maintain a positive team environment
- Ad hoc duties, projects, and reporting as required
About You
- Tertiary qualifications at degree level in a relevant discipline
- 5 years' work experience in a relevant field or industry
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG/retail industry, with demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, purchasing, and distribution
- Sound knowledge and understanding of logistics and inventory management processes
- Process mindset with ability to analyse and evaluate supply chain designs
- Excellent people skills, with high-level communication abilities coupled with a track record of leading, motivating, and mentoring high-performing teams
