Job Description

This Registered Nurse position offers a unique chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing expert clinical care to residents in line with Aged Care standards. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans that meet the needs and preferences of our residents.

As a key member of our team, you will have a significant impact on the well-being and quality of life of our residents. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and contribute to the development of effective care plans that promote resident independence and dignity.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining resident dignity and respect.
  • Manage and direct Enrolled Nurses (AINs) and Personal Care Workers (PCWs) in daily activities.
  • Support the Residential Manager/Care Manager in achieving facility objectives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for each resident according to documentation guidelines.
  • Comply with Workplace Health and Safety legislation and policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement processes and systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Current Registered Nurse (Division 1) registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Effective communication skills with residents, families, and all levels of staff.
  • A strong commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Current COVID-19 and annual flu vaccination (mandatory).
