Health and Wellness Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Health and Wellness Volunteers. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older people in our community.

Your primary responsibility will be to support residents in their health and wellness journey, providing assistance with activities such as:

  • Fitball drumming sessions
  • Walking groups and exercise programs
  • Supporting within our Health and Wellness Centre
  • Assisting with wheelchair use - supporting residents to and from the gym
  • Supporting the Health and Wellness Promoter

Our Health and Wellness Volunteers also have the option of being trained in Active Ageing Australia's Moving for Life Your Way program. This training will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.

We value the time and commitment of our volunteers and work closely with them to set up suitable days and times. Whether it's a few days a week or a few hours a month, every contribution is valued and appreciated.

As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to our vision of supporting members of our community to be Better for life. To achieve this, we require that our volunteers meet certain requirements: a current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care, or be willing to obtain one, and evidence of your current Flu & COVID-19 vaccinations.
