We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our engineering team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day supervision of the team, supporting general operations, and contributing to maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Ambassadors will lead a diverse team of engineers and handypersons while providing support to external contractors.
  • Maintenance Management: Assign daily tasks, set up work request systems, and monitor performance.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Record plant and utility consumption readings, analyze data, and report findings to stakeholders.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Inspect facilities, equipment, and fire systems, performing maintenance as necessary.
  • Safety and Sustainability: Lead Work Health and Safety initiatives, inspecting all areas of the property for safety issues and implementing corrective actions.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a similar leadership position, preferably in a hotel or engineering environment.
  • Technical Skills: Trade qualification in mechanical or building services is preferred (or willingness to attain).
  • Computer Literacy: Experience with computerized maintenance systems, Building Management Systems, and fire preventative requirements.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasks.
  • Availability: Flexibility to be on call for out-of-hours engineering issues.
