About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance Team at the Darwalla Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the preventative and unscheduled maintenance of our world-class chicken hatchery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of our industrial systems, including water pumps, reverse osmosis water systems, HVAC, boilers, chillers, generators, automation/robotics, and conveyors.
  • Perform fault-finding and problem-solving tasks to identify and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work closely with the Hatchery Team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • Hold a QLD Electrical A Grade License.
  • Have previous experience with industrial systems and electrical maintenance.
  • Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
