Palliative Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Consultant to join our Palliative Care Division at the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network.
As a Nurse Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional palliative care services to patients and their families in the community setting. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, offering expert clinical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their loved ones
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance palliative care services
Requirements:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Current practicing certificate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of palliative care principles and best practices
