Apprentice Landscaper Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Landscaper. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge in the landscaping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Softscape construction: Assist in building stunning landscapes from scratch on small-scale to large commercial sites.
  • Streetscape and playground creation: Contribute to the development of beautiful streetscapes and engaging playgrounds on major projects.
  • Team collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated team, learning from experienced professionals and benefiting from their guidance.
  • Liaising with site supervisors: Develop effective communication skills as you interact with site supervisors, ensuring seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to apprenticeship: Demonstrate your dedication to learning and growing in the landscaping industry by committing to a 3-year apprenticeship program.
  • Strong knowledge of WH&S practices: Prioritise safety at all times, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
  • Certificate II in Horticulture (highly regarded): Possession of this certification showcases your foundational knowledge and commitment to the field.
  • Effective communication skills: Collaborate seamlessly with team members and communicate professionally with site supervisors and clients.
  • Current manual driver's license: A valid license will enable you to travel to different work sites efficiently.
  • Own transportation: Ensure you have reliable transportation to reach various project locations.
