Wet Fire System Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join our team in the Brisbane region. As a key member, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all wet fire systems in accordance with required codes for clients across High Rise, Commercial, and Industrial environments.

You will work collaboratively with a positive and supportive team to ensure client needs are met. Regular training sessions and toolbox talks will help you expand your skills and stay up-to-date with industry standards and legislation.

Responsibilities:

Trade Qualification as a Sprinkler Fitter; QBCC licence or PIC licence; fire experience in similar roles; confidence in dealing with customers and clients, focus on quality and safety, and experience in 2 or more of the following:

  • Understanding of AS1851/ AS2118/ AS2419/ AS2941.
  • Experience with fire pump set and water supply systems.
  • Awareness of deluge, pre-action, and wall wetting systems.
  • Familiarity with Fire Panels.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and legislation.
