Job Title: Mental Health Specialist
">The Women's and Children's Health Network provides state-of-the-art healthcare for women, babies, children, and young people across South Australia.
">Our community-based services reach hundreds of thousands of individuals, families, and communities through various services and programs in areas like mental health, child and family health, youth health, and Aboriginal health.
">The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a free community-based tertiary mental health service provided through the WCHN across South Australia, offering care to those with severe and complex mental health needs.
">CAMHS provides services to infants, children, and young people up to 18 years old for community, statewide, and hospital-based services for perinatal women.
">As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for:
">- Providing high-quality mental health services for children, adolescents, and their families that are culturally sensitive, flexible, and meet diverse population needs.">
- Working in partnership with consumers, carers, and external agencies within a developmental context.">
- Providing a range of specialist, evidence-based interventions addressing mental health needs of children, young people, and their families.">
- Collaborating with other members of the multi-disciplinary team and key stakeholders to identify community needs, plan, implement, and evaluate mental health services.">
