We are seeking a skilled Hoist Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and controlling hoisting equipment on construction sites to safely transport materials and personnel.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, be safety-oriented, and have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate hoists and related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of hoisting equipment.
  • Ensure all lift plans are followed and communicate with ground crew and other operators as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication with on-site personnel regarding lifting operations.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations during operations.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid hoist operator's license or certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in operating hoists or similar lifting equipment.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards related to lifting operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions and surroundings.
  • Attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
