Job Title: Hospitality Assistant
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and flexible individual to join our team as a Hospitality Assistant. As a key member of our hotel's operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our food and beverage outlets.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and is able to work well under pressure. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchens, as well as providing support to our food and beverage teams during busy periods.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment, working with a dynamic team to deliver excellent results. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our kitchens
- Provide support to our food and beverage teams during busy periods
- Assist with general kitchen duties such as collecting rubbish, maintaining bins and the rubbish room, and undertaking additional cleaning tasks and schedules
- Lift, carry, and push items such as plates, trolleys, garbage bins, and equipment
- Handle food products, utensils, chemicals, and cleaning detergents
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A highly motivated and deadline-driven approach to support the food and beverage operation
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload both autonomously and within a team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the role
- The flexibility to work various shifts on a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and the festive season period
- The legal right to work in Australia
