About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our Maintenance Team. In this role, you will perform servicing, repair, and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment according to Thiess documentation. Responsibilities include:

  • Completing general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs to a high standard.
  • Sourcing technical information from relevant manuals, bulletins, OEM systems, and computer-based systems.
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards and conducting pre-start checks.

About You

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • A Trade qualification as Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years post-trade experience in mining or Heavy Earth Moving induction.
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs, and servicing of CAT and Hitachi mobile equipment.
  • Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times.
