We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in circuit design, simulation, and development of high-performance mixed signal hardware.
This role involves designing analogue signal chain processing circuits, developing digital signal circuits, creating PCB schematic designs, and simulating and optimising circuits. The successful candidate will also collaborate with the embedded software team to ensure that hardware designs meet software requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Development: Design and develop electronic circuits for advanced navigation technologies using analogue, digital, RF, and optoelectrical circuit design.
- Circuit Simulation and Optimisation: Simulate and optimise circuits in LTSpice.
- PCB Design and Layout: Create PCB schematic designs and layouts using Altium Designer.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the embedded software team to ensure that hardware designs meet software requirements.
The successful candidate will also identify a clear scope of work, communicate progress through consistent updates to leadership and fellow team members, and mitigate risks. Additionally, they will design and modify basic 3D CAD models for fit, function, and manufacturability, document their design work, and participate in peer reviews.
