We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our maternity care team at Nepean Private Hospital. As a Graduate Registered Midwife, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional care to our patients.

This is an exciting opportunity for early career nurses and midwives to transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills. Our graduate program is designed to provide comprehensive training and support, enabling you to reach your full potential as a registered midwife.

  • Work in a modern 109-bed facility with eight operating theatres and a critical care unit
  • Contribute to a team of experienced professionals providing high-quality patient care
  • Develop your skills and knowledge through rotations within your graduate stream
  • Enjoy ongoing employment contract and supernumerary time during training

About the Role

As a Graduate Registered Midwife, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of babies. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and excellent outcomes for our patients.

Requirements

  • Evidence of Australian working rights
  • Completion of a nursing or midwifery course within the last six months or expected completion at least one month before starting
  • Availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week, on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays
