**About the Role**

We are seeking a Payroll Consultant to join our dynamic Payroll Operations team at Flight Centre Travel Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing payroll-related functions for approximately 5,500 employees nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure personnel records are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Meet minimum standards for document handling and filing.
  • Collect, calculate, and enter data to maintain Payroll information.
  • Complete payroll processes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key members of the business.
  • Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, terminations, etc.
  • Attend to queries in a prompt manner in accordance with our minimum standards.
  • Understand Flight Centre Agreement and other remuneration models/agreements.
  • Identify and raise Payroll and Fair Work legislation changes impacting FCTG Payroll.

Requirements:

  • A dedicated team player with a focus on relationship building.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to organize work efficiently.
  • Upholds company philosophies and has a sound working knowledge of Excel.
  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a similar role, with experience working with Ascender Payroll system desirable.
