About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled HC driver to join our team in Alice Springs, working a continuous 14-day roster. As a FIFO driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport various types of goods to sites locations across Alice Springs, including delivering containers to supermarkets and local general freight deliveries.
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical fitness of vehicles and report any issues or incidents promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and handling any inquiries or issues professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience within your licence class.
  • Valid MC or HC driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in various driving conditions.
