Job Title

Director of Learning Support

The College seeks a full-time Director of Learning Support to lead the Learning Enrichment and Program Support Department across both campuses.

This vital role focuses on delivering high-quality educational and developmental support for all students, staff, and families from Early Learning to Year 12.

You will oversee a dedicated team of Learning Support Teachers and Assistants, ensuring that tailored support is provided for students with diverse needs.

  • Demonstrate leadership and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.

The ideal candidate will also have the ability to foster collaboration among LEAPS staff, educators, Student Wellbeing Coordinators, parents, and students.

This role is essential for ensuring that every student receives the support needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful applicant must be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) with experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

They must also demonstrate knowledge of best practices in learning support, special education laws, and inclusive education strategies.

  • Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.

Applicants with postgraduate training or qualifications in working with students with diverse learning needs and prior experience liaising with government departments will be highly regarded.
