Role Overview

As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of various cabling and electrical systems in commercial environments.
  • Working within a team to deliver communications and electrical projects in accordance with Company standards and to meet project time frames.
  • Ensuring customer concerns are proactively addressed.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers, colleagues, and Managers of the Company.
  • Effectively managing administrative requirements.
  • Attending toolbox meetings and training as required.
  • Determining job priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Complying with all company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Supporting and supervising apprentices.
  • Working a combination of day and night shifts, with some overtime available.

About You

We are looking for:

  • A fully qualified electrician with data and communications experience.
  • A candidate looking for an opportunity to work for a Tier 1 operation.
  • A professional who wants to work on large worksites on substantial projects.
  • A team player who can work autonomously and well within a team.
Requirements

You will need:

  • Unrestricted electrical licence.
  • Experience with data and communications work within a commercial setting.
  • Open cabling licence (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and fault-finding experience.
  • Ability to pass requirements to obtain a national police check and other checks as required.
