We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Crew Specialist to join our team at Workpac in Townsville. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with asphalt and be able to assist in preparing, laying, and finishing it on roadways and other surfaces.

Company Overview:

A leading construction materials company providing high-quality products and services to the building and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, laying, and finishing asphalt on roadways and other surfaces.
  • Operate Skid Steers and HR vehicles as required.
  • Prepare surfaces for asphalt work.
  • Perform labor-intensive tasks as necessary.

Requirements:

  • White Card
  • Commitment to reliability and safety
  • Proven experience working with asphalt
  • MR/HR Driver's Licence (highly regarded)
  • Roller or Skid Steer ticket (highly regarded)
  • Night shift availability is mandatory
  • Minimum 'C' class Licence
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Safety competency

Compensation:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $37.84 + penalties
