About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Monks Associates Inc. as a key member of our APAC Data Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the direction, coordination, implementation, control, and completion of projects across various clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the timely delivery of each project, ensuring it remains within scope and budget.
  • Client Management: Act as the principal point of contact for the client throughout the engagement.
  • Project Planning: Develop the project Statement of Work (SOW), including objectives, scope, resources, budget, and timeline.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work with all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Team Management: Organize and coordinate a cross-functional team of analysts, data engineers, digital consultants, and others.
  • Project Documentation: Prepare a project plan and document project progress for review by senior management and key client stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure that projects are delivered in compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations.
  • Agile Methodologies: Schedule and run agile sprint ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Scrum Master: Manage project tasks, acting as scrum master.
  • Risk Management: Mitigate risk and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Project Evaluation: Evaluate the success of projects against established criteria.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Project Management or a similar role.
  • Methodologies: Demonstrated examples of use of project management methodologies.
  • Industry Experience: Experience working for an agency as well as on the client-side.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of website consulting, design, and development.
  • Tool Proficiency: Comfortable using Jira as a primary tool for coordination.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and communicate business value of suggested ideas and plans.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Math, or Statistics/Economics.
  • Certifications: Certifications in Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Google Cloud are highly valued.
