Job Opportunity:

Metro Paramedic Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Services, Inc., is seeking a full-time Paramedic/Firefighter for our Newport contract. This role offers a competitive starting pay of $60,000.

Job Summary:

As a Paramedic/Firefighter, you will provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level, within your scope of practice, as stipulated by Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and/or EMS Commission of Illinois. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical care and transportation for patients at the Paramedic/Firefighter (EMT-P) level.
  • Maintain a high level of physical fitness and be able to perform duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.


Requirements:

  • Paramedic License.
  • Firefighter II or Basic Operations Firefighter Certification.
  • CPR Certified.
  • 21 Years of age.
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License.
  • ACLS (Metro will train).
  • PALS (Metro will train).
  • Successfully completion of pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.
