Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical support for network and satellite connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and satellite communication systems.
  • Monitor network performance and escalate critical issues to senior engineers or vendors as required.
  • Assist in deploying and maintaining network infrastructure, including LEO and GEO satellite systems, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
  • Configure and manage networking hardware from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Mikrotik.
  • Implement network security best practices and work with firewalls and intrusion detection systems to protect against threats.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices to enhance internal knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to optimize system performance and reliability.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in network engineering, IT support, or telecommunications.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS protocols.
  • Experience with satellite communication networks, WAN, antennas, and cloud-based networking is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and advanced troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment supporting mission-critical connectivity solutions.
