As a Senior Resident Medical Officer in Medical Imaging, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality care to patients in Canberra and the surrounding regions.

The Medical Imaging Department operates 24/7, providing a range of imaging modalities including X-Ray, CT, MRI, PET, Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine services.

You will be based at The Canberra Hospital, with regular rotations to other local sites such as Weston Creek Imaging Service, TCH Fetal Medicine Unit, ACT BreastScreen, and rural rotation sites of Orange, Bathurst, and Dubbo.

Job Requirements:
  • To be eligible for this position, you must be PGY3+ by February 2026
  • If you are PGY4, please apply for the Medical Imaging Accredited Registrar position
  • All applicants must be registered with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) with a College Registration Verification Number (CRVN)
