A key role within our organisation is available for a strategic and detail-oriented Manager or Senior Manager – Treasury to lead our treasury operations and support financial efficiency across the Group. This position plays a pivotal part in managing daily cash flow, banking relationships, intercompany funding, and financial risk, while ensuring compliance and delivering insightful reporting to senior leadership.

This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily cash management, including monitoring cash positions and ensuring sufficient funding for operational needs. A key responsibility is producing an accurate and timely weekly cash flow forecast, aligned with the group-wide forecasts prepared by the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information to a non-financial audience. They should also have experience in financial planning, insight, and review, as well as being adept at preparing, maintaining, and developing complex three-way models.

The successful applicant will hold a CA or CPA qualification (or similar), and have experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus. They will be a self-starter and self-motivated, with a passion for managing treasury operations and ensuring financial efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily cash management, including monitoring cash positions and ensuring sufficient funding for operational needs.
  • Develop plans and oversee the transactional banking RFP process, assisting with the evaluation of banking partners, and implementing migration plans to banking partners.
  • Manage intercompany cash balances to minimise FX impacts and repatriate cash, ensuring all movements comply with the Group Intercompany Funding Policy.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with external banking partners, ensuring consistent controls and compliance with internal policies.
  • Manage bank loans, financial covenant reporting, executing FX hedges to mitigate currency risk, and ensuring timely payments of interest and fees.
  • Assist with debt strategy, negotiating merchant facilities and credit card programs, and drafting treasury reports and board papers.
Requirements:
  • CA or CPA qualification (or similar)
  • Experience in financial planning, insight, and review
