Perth Commercial Contracts Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in Perth. This role will be responsible for providing contractual expertise to ensure projects align with Group contracting principles, maximizing commercial opportunities and adhering to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Allocating resources to support projects and proposals
- Managing direct reports, including timesheet approvals and performance management
- Managing department budgets to mitigate cost overrun
- Liaising with P&C for recruitment and providing mentoring to team members
Support the Proposals Team by providing guidance on commercial and contractual models, review and clarify Head Contracts commercial items, advise on partnering agreements, and implement subcontracting strategies.
General DutiesImplement Main Contract management processes, recommend commercial strategies, monitor contract baselines, ensure compliance, and oversee contractual aspects of subcontracting.
RequirementsQualified candidates should have:
- University Degree in Commerce, Law, Engineering or Construction Management
- Expert understanding of contracts law and business ethics
- High level of commercial acumen and experience in oil and gas standards and regulations
- 10 years working experience in contracts engineering and significant experience in the oil and gas industry
