Visual Merchandising Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Visual Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Target. As a key member of our Central Operations team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies that drive sales and enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and prepare compelling merchandising strategies and communications to stores, aligning with the company's merchandise strategy, brand direction, and seasonal trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of visual merchandising plans, seasonal and monthly direction, and instore execution reviews and training.
- Utilize computer design software, including SketchUp, Microsoft suite, and Adobe Creative Suite, to create visual displays and communications.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, product, and customer experience, and apply this knowledge to inform visual merchandising decisions.
- A relevant Visual Merchandising degree or equivalent in-role experience.
- Between 2-4 years' experience in a central or field Visual Merchandising role or retail role.
- Sound understanding of the retail industry and commerciality of Visual Merchandising.
- Strong working knowledge of computer design software and ability to read and develop store plans and flows.
