Village Medical Centre is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team on a Casual basis. As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing front desk operations and ensuring a smooth patient flow
- Responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Handling patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Preparing and processing patient-related documents
- Providing administrative support to the medical team
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in a related field (e.g. business administration, healthcare)
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a medical reception or related role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in medical software
