Warehouse Operations Manager

We are seeking a reliable Inventory Specialist to manage stock and maintain operations in our dynamic team at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville.
About the Role:- Track stock quantities and locations using computer systems.
- Operate machinery, including forklifts, to move goods safely or obtain a forklift license.
- Carry out regular stock checks, monitor quantities, assess equipment for deterioration, track shelf life expiration, and ensure security of all items.
- Support general store duties, including packing and scheduling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store area.
- A valid forklift license is desirable.
- Experience in warehousing or store environments is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Suite skills.
- Previous experience with systems such as MILIs will be highly regarded.
- Comfortable working with Defence personnel and stakeholders.
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain a Defence clearance.
To be considered for this position, you must also successfully complete an Australian Federal Police Check and Medical Pre-Employment Checks as stipulated by the contract.
