Job Summary

As a Home Support Worker, you will provide assistance to clients in their homes with daily living activities such as personal care, social support, capacity-building activities, and domestic assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, or dressing.
  • Provide companionship and social interaction through attending appointments or engaging in recreational activities.
  • Engage clients in learning new skills or increasing independence through capacity-building activities.
  • Perform household tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light cleaning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • National Police Check (less than a year old).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Comprehensively insured and well-maintained vehicle.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline.
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
  • At least 12 months of experience in a similar role.
