Graphics Software Engineering Opportunity

About the JobWe're seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge graphics and windowing system software.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in both C++ and Rust programming languages and be able to design, implement, and test features across the Mir stack. Additionally, they should be proficient in debugging, tracking down, and fixing issues, as well as participating in code and architectural review.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code for graphics and windowing system functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Engage with the open-source community and commercial partners to drive innovation and growth
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess excellent technical skills, including modern C++ and Rust programming knowledge, as well as familiarity with Linux as a development and deployment platform. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential, as you'll be working closely with a distributed team to achieve shared goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software engineering, preferably with focus on graphics and windowing systems
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
