Positive Behaviour Support Professional

We are seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to fill this role in Mackay.

About the Role:

  • This position will involve supporting clients of all abilities using evidence-based behaviour strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Apply Positive Behaviour Support principles and strategies to support clients.
  2. Collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including psychology, counselling, youth work, social work, health, and leadership.
  3. Be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements:

  • NDIS registration at core level (preferably).
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
  • Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
  • QLD Driver's License.
