We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Strategist to join our team at Superloop, Australia's modern challenger telco and internet service provider.

About Us: Superloop is all about experience - we are not just a utility - with a promise to be super from the ground up. We're more tech than telco, delivering quality service across our consumer, business, and wholesale units.

About the Role: As a Business Development Strategist, you will be responsible for creating new customer relationships and driving new business opportunities with clients and key decision makers to grow Superloop.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Engage New Opportunities: Analyse market intelligence and formulate sales plans to expand the Superloop customer base and meet sales targets.
  • Sales Planning and Reporting: Provide accurate reports around sales plans and opportunity forecasts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, engaging with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Customer Success: Coordinate internal personnel to ensure that customer operational and commercial outcomes are fulfilled via the utilisation of Superloop products and services.

Requirements:

  • B2B Sales Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years B2B sales experience with a preference of exposure within the wholesale FTTP market and focus on new business development.
  • Technical Industry Knowledge: Experience operating within the high value technology industry (information communications and technology).
  • Telco Solutions Selling: Adept at understanding and selling telecommunications solutions.
  • Complex Customer Management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex and large customers whilst ensuring portfolio longevity and profitability.
  • Negotiation and Presentation Skills: Multi-level B2B selling skills with commercial acumen, competent at presenting and negotiating value propositions with C-Level executives.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Ability to build strong internal relationships, and influence stakeholders of different functions and levels.
  • Time Management and Problem-Solving: Time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure, think strategically to resolve problems.
  • Excellent Communication: Superior written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to people in a range of positions.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
