About the Role

Stantec's Utilities team is a highly respected group of engineers with a solid pipeline of work. As a Utilities Coordinator, you will lead projects across NSW, designing and relocating utilities for major infrastructure projects. You will have previous experience in coordinating utility delivery, providing technical advice to project teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage Utility Design teams
  • Work with utilities authorities
  • Lead projects from lodgement to completion
  • Collaborate with clients to design innovative solutions
  • Data analysis and interpretation to achieve project goals
  • Design coordination and submission of proposals
  • Attend project/client meetings and engage in community consultation
  • Undertake field work and site inspections
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a utilities coordinator or WSC
  • Good understanding of utilities authorities' policies and procedures
  • Previous experience in project management on Sydney Water projects
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Experience in developing junior engineers
  • Understanding of relevant software (12D, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, MS packages)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid drivers' license
