About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced workers' compensation professional to join our Workplace Risk practice. Based in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane, you will work with our clients to provide risk and state renewal services, while contributing to the implementation of our business development strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop key existing clients by delivering innovative and flexible solutions for their workplace risk programs.
  • Complete premium renewals and policy placement of national workers' programs, including preparing renewal information to submit to markets and negotiating renewal premiums with underwriters.
  • Produce client renewal reports and other analytical written reports for clients, undertaking premium forecasting, and preparing client invoices and managing internal debtors.
  • Provide technical placement support to internal stakeholders and support junior staff with SME client renewals and other scheme facilities.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a workers' compensation role or similar within an insurance environment.
  • Tier 1 Qualification.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, proficient Microsoft Word skills, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as an energetic personal drive and a customer-centric approach to work.
  • A proactive time management skillset and a proven record of prioritizing workloads and meeting deadlines.
What We Offer
  • An estimated salary range of AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
