The Opportunity

Civmec is seeking skilled Cabler / Optical Fibre Technicians to join our Construction Division on a Full-Time basis. The roles will be FIFO from Perth on a 3:1 Roster or Local DIDO. This is a great chance to gain ongoing opportunities with Civmec and develop your skills in fibreoptic cabling and telecommunications installation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installation, termination/splicing and testing of fibreoptic cabling
  • Installation, termination and testing of CAT6 communications cabling
  • Perform other general duties as required

About You

  • 2-3 years Industrial experience
  • Certificate III in Telecommunications
  • Nationally Recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card
  • Previous construction experience within the mining and resources sector (preferable)
