We are seeking reliable and skilled horse handlers to join our racing team in Melbourne.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Saddling up horses
  • Hosing down horses after exercise
  • Grooming horses to maintain their physical health and well-being
  • Monitoring the condition of horses and identifying any potential issues or discrepancies

In addition to these tasks, the successful applicant will also be required to:

  • Work split shifts, Monday to Saturday from 4am to 9am and 1:30pm to 3:30pm, with alternate Sundays
  • Attend race days and assist with strapping
  • Support the team at Jump Out/Trial days

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as part of a team. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
