Job Title: People & Culture Specialist

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Human Resources function, you will play a vital role in delivering our people and culture strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop and implement people and culture strategies that align with organisational goals and values
  • Provide guidance and coaching support to managers on employee queries and grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolution
  • Support managers with performance management discussions, talent development, and succession planning
  • Partner with managers to execute the people strategy, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
  • Facilitate conversations around team engagement, collaboration, and conflict resolution
  • Contribute to strategic projects across the organisation
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and support to managers to enhance their HR capabilities

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR management processes, including employment law, industrial relations, and awards
  • Ability to quickly interpret Awards and Agreements, providing expert advice to managers
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills
  • Positive attitude, strong desire to learn and develop, and proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to coordinate internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong conflict management skills, with ability to navigate complex issues
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiating skills, with ability to build strong relationships
