Job Opportunity

Diagnostic imaging services are provided by a registered Medical Radiation Practitioner who works in a major Hospital Health Service.

  • Responsibilities include delivering medical imaging services within a multidisciplinary team, applying independent clinical judgement to complex cases and developing clinical practice knowledge through learning and professional development activities.

The successful applicant will work across various clinical areas and imaging modalities, including general and emergency radiography, fluoroscopy, mobile and operating theatre procedures, and CT scans.

Mandatory Requirements

To be eligible for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent establishing eligibility for a Statement of Accreditation from the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
  • Registration as a Medical Radiation Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A current Use Licence issued by Radiation Health, Queensland.
