Teaching Artist Position

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic teaching artist to lead our adult beginner painting classes in a fun and social atmosphere.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Guide up to 30 participants step-by-step through a featured painting
  • Create an engaging environment for all participants
  • Assist participants during the event
  • Set up and break down the event
  • Communicate effectively with staff and be a team player
  • Take photos of events
  • Promote social media accounts and other workshops and classes

This role offers the opportunity to learn from a master artist and develop your skills as a teaching artist. You will gain experience interacting with people, building confidence in your work, and delivering paintings to a large audience.

The ideal candidate should be able to travel to different locations, including wineries in the hinterland. They should also have a strong long-term commitment to the role and be able to prioritize their work commitments.
